Care That Lasts a Lifetime

Erika works at the Audi Field, the soccer stadium in Washington, D.C., where the D.C. United soccer team plays. She likes to be outside and loves being around all of the people who frequent the games and other events that the stadium hosts.

SJCS has been supporting Erika throughout her life. She was a student at the school that SJCS ran for students living with disabilities. And now, 13 years later, we still support Erika in her home through our residential services and at her job through our employment services.

Erika has a roommate, who happens to also be her best friend. The two of them love to go for walks, shop for clothes, and play board games. SJCS staff helps them navigate their community safely and ensures they have the support they need to live their best life.

When you give to SJCS you are making sure Erika has the vital support she needs to live the life she wants, as independently as she can. There are so many individuals that rely on the support SJCS provides, and like Erika, many of them need that support throughout their entire life.

Erika is living her life as independently as possible and that is all thanks to friends like you. Thank you for helping to provide Erika with the support she needs to ensure her dreams are realized.
